OUR SOLUTION / SEAWATER-TO-FUEL

SEVEN CRITICAL TECHNOLOGY ELEMENTS.
ONE OPERATING SYSTEM.

From Ocean Water to Operational Fuel. Sea Dragon combines seven critical technology elements into one operating system, integrating the end-to-end Seawater-to-Jet Fuel process from carbon extraction through finished drop-in fuel.

THE VALUE

The individual technologies matter. The advantage comes from making them operate as one complete system.

THE SCIENCE

Turning seawater into mission-ready drop-in fuel.

Sea Dragon Energy is pioneering a breakthrough approach to producing drop-in strategic fuel directly from seawater. By transforming one of the world’s most abundant natural resources into mission-ready fuel, we are helping redefine how energy can be produced, delivered and sustained wherever operations demand it.

We recover carbon from seawater, produce hydrogen from water, synthesize those feedstocks into hydrocarbons and upgrade them toward the demanding specifications required for naval aviation fuel.

Each stage must maximize efficiency and usable hydrocarbon yield while operating as part of a compact, integrated system—ultimately in a dynamic maritime environment subject to roll, pitch and yaw.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

INTEGRATION ENABLES SCALE. Prove the system. Then take it further.

Our integrated process is the foundation. The next challenge is to determine how that system behaves as production increases, operations become continuous and the process moves from a controlled land-based environment into the maritime domain.

That is where scale-up begins.

PROVE IT / NELHA HOST PARK DEMONSTRATION SITE

REAL SEAWATER.
REAL INFRASTRUCTURE.

REAL OPERATIONAL RELEVANCE.

Kona is where seven critical technology elements become one operating system. The site gives Sea Dragon the seawater access, infrastructure and Pacific operating context needed to build, commission and prove the complete process before taking it to sea.

OPERATING WITH SEAWATER

02 / REAL SYSTEMS

OPERATING AS ONE

Full-scale equipment, utilities and controls commissioned as one integrated system.

03 / RELEVANT LOCATION

OPERATING IN THE PACIFIC

A maritime environment where resilient fuel logistics have immediate strategic relevance.

THE NEXT STEP: MARITIME SCALE-UP.

The next stage moves Sea Dragon from integrated demonstration to a 300 gallon-per-day maritime test platform, scaling the complete process while taking it out of the controlled environment of a land-based facility.

The objective is not simply to produce more fuel. It is to learn what only becomes visible at scale, under continuous operation and in a real maritime environment.

01 / SCALE + INTEGRATE

Identify technology gaps that emerge at larger scale while demonstrating the complete, integrated process under continuous operating conditions.

02 / VALIDATE + OPTIMIZE

Generate larger fuel samples for market development and validation while producing operating data to improve the techno-economic model and guide further scale-up.

03 / MARINIZE + MOBILIZE

Test process limitations under unpredictable three-dimensional environmental loading, evaluate the interaction between plant operations and vessel stability, and demonstrate the ability to relocate production.

04 / EXPAND THE PLATFORM

Establish a maritime process “chassis” into which additional technologies, process elements and raw materials can be introduced, enabling development of multiple fuels and future production pathways.

FROM MARITIME DEMONSTRATION TO OPERATIONAL SCALE.

The barge proves that the integrated process can scale, operate continuously and function in a maritime environment. The next horizon is substantially greater production capacity. Moving fuel production with the force rather than moving fuel to the force.

A FAST CARBON CYCLE

The ocean and atmosphere are continuously exchanging CO₂.

Sea Dragon Energy removes carbon from seawater to make fuel. As carbon is removed from surface seawater, the natural ocean-atmosphere system moves toward a new equilibrium, supporting renewed transfer of atmospheric CO₂ into the ocean.

THE EQUILIBRIUM EFFECT

Removing dissolved carbon from surface seawater changes the local carbonate equilibrium and supports additional atmosphere-to-ocean CO₂ exchange.
